Healing cats

When the stresses of a world in turmoil or merely a bad day at work threaten to overwhelm us, help is just a cat-in-the lap away. Feline therapy eases anxiety by lowering blood pressure and releasing "feel good" endorphins. At this time of year when our animal shelters are overflowing with cats and kittens, there has never been a better time to adopt a feline therapist and let a cat heal your heart.

Cat Angel's Haven joins the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) in declaring June Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat month. Corporate sponsor Fresh Step R Cat Litter and national cyber-shelter Petfinder.com support the month-long celebration. Together, we have created special offers for anyone interested in making a commitment to put their peace in mind in the paws of a cat.

Cat Angel's Haven invites the citizens of Buena Vista County to partake in some relaxation therapy by stopping by the shelter to meet our available feline and celebrating Adopt-A Shelter-Cat month with us.

Let a cat heal your heart.
