Funeral Services for Christopher Lee Culp, 32, formerly of Storm Lake, were held Wednesday, April 3, at Price Funeral Home Chapel, Hebron, NE., with Reverend Father Paul Sheehy. Burial was with Lincoln Cremation Service, Lincoln, NE.
Chris passed away March 30, at Hebron, NE.
Christopher Lee Culp, the son of Dale E. and Carole A. (Wetherell) Culp, was born on November 11, 1969 in Fairbury NE. He was one of five children born to his parents. He passed away at Thayer County Health Services Hospital in Hebron, NE., at the age of 32 years, four months and 19 days.
Chris was baptized in May of 1977 at the First United Methodist Church in Storm Lake by Reverend Buchwalter. He attended and graduated from Fonda Community High School in Fonda. During his lifetime he lived in Storm Lake, Truesdale and Varina, and Ohiowa and Deshler, NE.
Chris enjoyed helping people he knew, with work that needed to be done; was a part-time plumber's helper for Dick Medina and worked often for neighboring farmers. he never turned down any job he was able to do. He hunted and fished in season; and was an avid military history buff.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Culp and Clifford and Violet Wetherell.
He is survived by his parents, Dale and Carole Culp, a brother, Jerry E. Culp, and sisters, Amy M. Culp and Janelle E. Culp all of Deshler and Patricia M. Culp of Springfield, New Jersey; Grandmother, Virginia Culp of Alexandria; aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
