Storm Lake area students earn BVU Dean's Fellowship Awards

Three Storm Lake area students have been selected as recipients of the Buena Vista University Dean's Fellowship Awards to attend BVU during the 2002-2003 academic year.

They are Amanda Brummer, daughter of Jeff and LaDonna Brummer, 718 Geneseo Street, Storm Lake, a recipient of the BVU School of Social Science, Philosophy and Religion Dean's Fellowship Award; Jessica Netsch, daughter of Kelly and Judy Netsch, 112 Lake Street, Lakeside, a recipient of the BVU School of Science Dean's Fellowship Award; and Roseanne Wolf, daughter of Raymond and Mary Wolf, 407 Ash Street, a recipient of the BVU School of Science Dean's Fellowship Award.

Dean's Fellowship Awards are awarded to students with a minimum 26 ACT or in the top 10 percent of their high school class.

Additional opportunities are provided to Deans Fellows, such as advanced first-year seminars, exploratory experiences, academic assistant ships, off-campus study and internships/student teaching.
