Easter drama brings beloved Biblical stories to life in Storm Lake.
Storm Lake United Methodist Church-goers become actors this week to tell one of the best-known stories in history, as the congregation presents a Last Supper drama, "Thy Kingdom Come."
The event is open to everyone. There will also be an open communion service.
Joan Rude, who directs the drama, said it is a gift to the community. For close to a decade, the United Methodist congregation has been putting on some kind of drama for the Easter celebration.
"It's to help people travel with Jesus through the events of Maudy Thursday," Rude said. "The drama really draws you in to the emotions that surrounded those events."
