The Associated General Contractors of Iowa recently announced the election of Kevin Dreher to the office of Secretary/Treasurer for 2002-2003.
Mr. Dreher's full-time position is serving as Vice President of the Wetherell Excavating and Trucking of Storm Lake.
He assumed the offices at the association's annual meeting in Des Moines earlier in January. Mr. Dreher also joins the Executive Committee.
The AGC of Iowa is the state's largest association of highway, bridge and utility construction contractors. AGC members annually complete over 95 percent of the public work let by the Iowa Department of Transportation.
The association also completes numerous infrastructure development projects of various municipalities and counties throughout the state.
Mr. Dreher has been active in the leadership of the Associated General Contractors of Iowa for several years, including his service on numerous committees, as Chair of the Specialty Division, and on the associations board of directors.
AGC of Iowa, headquartered in Des Moines, is beginning its 80th year of service to Iowa contractors in 2002, and nationally is the fifth largest chapter of AGC of America.
