CE plans ski trip to Mount Kato

On February 18, CommUNITY Ed will be offering another Ski Trip to Mt. Kato in Minnesota. Students in grades 5 through 12 are invited to attend. The trip will depart from Storm Lake High School at 6:15 a.m. on Monday the 18, Presidents day, and will return at 9 p.m. There are special rates for students 17 and under: $45 for snowboards, $40 for skiing and $25 if you have your own equipment. Fees for those 18 and over are $10 more than the special rates. Registration forms are available at Storm Lake High School, Storm Lake Middle School, St. Mary's and CommUNITY Ed. Registrations are due by February 8. A minimum of 20 are needed.

Snowmobile safety course offered

A snowmobile safety course will be held Saturday, February 2. The course will be held at Storm Lake Fire Department from 8 - 5 p.m. Any operator between ages 12 to 17 is required to have a certification in this course by law. There will be a sixteen person limit on this class, registration is on a first come-first-served basis. Pre-registration is necessary. Single Sailors to hold dance Feb. 9

"Single Sailors" Social Ministry of N/W Iowa invites all area singles to the Storm Lake KC Hall on Saturday, February 9. DJ music will be offered by Ron Brown from 8 p.m. - 12 p.m. Admission is $8.

Guests (170+) are from all over northwest Iowa. They have been 30+ in age, from all faiths, either widowed, divorced, or single persons.
