BV County Chorale to present concert
'Tis the Season for Music! The Buena Vista County Chorale will present its winter concert on Sunday, Dec. 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the Schaller Memorial Chapel. The Chorale will present a diverse selection of music: classical and popular, serious and humorous, secular and religious, American and international. The concert will include holiday music from many traditions: Solstice, Hanukka, Kwanzaa and, of course, Christmas. Come join the Buena Vista County community and share in an evening of holiday delight. Admission is free.
Book Babies slated
Book Babies will be held at the Storm Lake Public Library on Saturday, December 8 at 10:30 a.m. Babies, toddlers under age 3, older siblings and their parents are invited to a program on country angels, reindeer and snow. There will be stories, finger plays, music, and soap bubbles. The toddler craft will be a sugar cone Christmas tree.

Crosswind to perform
Celebrate with "Crosswind," the praise band of St. Mark Lutheran Church, 1614 West Fifth Street, in Storm Lake, as they lead a contemporary Worship Service Sunday, December 9, at 7 p.m. "Come as you are" for an informal and upbeat evening of son, prayer, and fellowship, the second Sunday evening of every month at 7 p.m.
BVU to perform plays
Buena Vista University Spanish language students will be performing two plays they have written, Cinderella and Charlie Brown's Christmas at the Storm Lake Public Library on Monday, December 11, at 6 p.m. For more information call Elizabeth Huff, Youth Services Librarian, 732-8026.
