Numerous courses leading to an associate degree in Human Services will be held starting in January 2002, at the Iowa Central Community College, Storm Lake Center.
The Human Service program provides the knowledge and skills necessary for a rewarding career in assisting people in our community.
As society becomes more complex, individuals are subjected to more stress, resulting in social problems. Today, more efforts are directed toward helping individuals meet their problems and enhance their social well-being.
Many of the instructors in the program work directly in the human services field. Moreover, a full semester of field experience is required for all Human Services majors in the social agency of their choice.
