On Tuesday, October 30, two Albert City-Truesdale choir members attended the first annual Women In Song Honor Choir Festival held at Morningside College.

They were Mandy Schramm, daughter of Tim and Shelia Schramm and Lori Hogrefe, daughter of Charlie and Val Hogrefe, all of Albert City.

The girls are members of the AC-T High School mixed choir under the direction on Mrs. Beverly Evans.

Mandy and Lori spent the day rehearsing in a massed treble clef choir that consisted of participants from 17 schools from lowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, and South Dakota.

The girls also attended a vocal technique workshop and were treated to a faculty recital by Dr. Gail Dooley and Joan Van Holland.

The massed choir presented a concert that night in Eppley Auditorium under the direction of Dr. Linell Gray Moss. The group sang the following three songs; "Niska Banja," "Sing All Ye Joyful," and "Sahayta."
