KC Hall to become winter wonderland during Festival of Trees silent auction

The Knights of Columbus Hall will become a winter wonderland, opening its doors to thousands of people Saturday, November 17, from 9 - 5 p.m.

The Festival of Trees will be a premiere holiday event for persons of all ages. The whole family will enjoy strolling through the forest of beautifully decorated trees and silent auction holiday gift giving items. All who attend the Festival of Trees will have the opportunity to place silent written bids of designated holiday gift giving items.

Each silent auction item has been donated by either businesses and individuals who support the works of the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center Auxiliary. This year the proceeds will go towards the construction of an emergency helicopter-landing pad at the hospital.

By your attendance to these events you enable the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center's Auxiliary to continue its efforts in supporting quality health care for our regional area.

Over the past several years, the auxiliary has assisted the hospital in the following ways: Financial assisted the hospital in purchasing equipment for Radiology, Surgery, Emergency Room, furnishings for the OB department, furnishings for the oncology waiting area, artwork place in the hospital, special training for hospital personnel, scholarships and grants for persons interested in the health care profession or advancement in their health care field, senior day care programs (scholarships), donor bone marrow program (scholarships), lifeline units, oncology chairs, two birthing rooms, infant car seats, hospital medical equipment, redecoration of coffee shop and gift shop, Red Cross Bloodmobile.
