Sunday, November 18, 2001

Alyssa Ridout of Alta has the role of Soreal Bliss in Northwestern College's upcoming production of the British comedy "Hay Fever."

Ridout and fellow cast members will perform the play today through Nov. 17 in Northwestern's Playhouse.

Set in 1925, "Hay Fever" is about the Bliss family and the guests they invite for a weekend to their country home outside London. Conflicting appearances and intentions, four guests and one guest bedroom make for a farcical weekend that keeps the Bliss's two maids hopping and alienates their guests.

The daughter of Rokk and LuAnn, Ridout is a senior elementary education major.

Tickets for "Hay Fever" are free, but seating must be reserved by calling the Northwestern Theatre Box Office at 712-707-7098 from 1 to 7 p.m. Show time is 8 p.m. for each production.
