On the evening of Sunday, November 4, at approximately 7:16 p.m. the Storm Lake Police Department was dispatched to 1804 East Milwaukee Avenue, # 126, in reference to an assault.
Upon arrival Police learned that a juvenile female had physically assaulted her mother at the residence for the second time in less than a month. Further the juvenile had retrieved a knife and was chopping up some property in the house. The knife was not used in the assault.
Police arrested the juvenile identified as a 15 year old juvenile female and charged her with Assault (simple misdemeanor). The juvenile was transported to the Youth Detention Facility in Cherokee, pending a court date.
