On Tuesday, October 9, Don Krueger, of Aurelia, reported the theft of a toolbox from a Commercial Sign and Design vehicle. The vehicle was parked at 826 Grand Avenue, Storm Lake. The value of the toolbox was estimated at $250.
On Wednesday, October 10, Thomas Miller, of 25 St. Andrews Drive, Storm Lake, reported damage to the rear window of his vehicle, while parked at 1233 Lake Avenue, Storm Lake. The damage of the vehicle was estimated at $400.
On Wednesday, October 10, the Laundry Basket, 1126 N. Lake Ave., reported damage to a wall. Damages were estimated at $100.
On Thursday, October 11, Nikki Wilson, 111 Superior, reported $375 damage to a vehicle.
On October 7, at 2 a.m., an accident occurred at Malarkey's Pub, 147 Flindt Drive. A 1996 Ford, owned by Roger and Mary Ann Ewoldt of Hospers, Iowa, was parked in the parking lot. A 1992 Mitsubishi, driven by Warren Oswoldt III, 20, of Fort Dodge, was backing out of a parking space and struck the Ewoldt vehicle. Damaged to the vehicles were estimated at $100 for the Ewoldt vehicle, and $0 to the Oswoldt vehicle.
