HOLSTEIN - Scott Breyfogle scored four touchdowns to help power Galva-Holstein to a 32-6 win over Remsen-Union in a Class A District 1 game last Friday.
The Pirates rushed for 328 yards and passed for 107 for a total of 435 yards of offense.
Breyfogle, who rushed for 157 yards on 26 carries and caught four passes for 104 yards, opened the scoring with a 15-yard TD catch from Matt Egger. The two-point conversion failed.
Evan Platt then scored on a 1-yard plunge to make it 12-0. Breyfogle added a 2-yard touchdown run for an 18-0 lead.
Remsen-Union's Alex Pick scored on a 40-yard run to make it 18-6, but then Breyfogle went 16 yards for the score and caught a 31-yard touchdown pass from Egger to make it a 32-6 game.
Daniel Lichter rushed for 89 yards on 18 carries for the Pirates, now 3-0 overall. Egger had 51 yards on three carries.
Scott Radke led the defense with 15 tackles. Bryan Anfinson had 11 and Breyfogle 10.
