Pella 52, Spencer 51

The Tigers missed three shots within the final ten seconds to allow last year's state runner up to advance.

Spencer trailed by as many as seven in the second half but used a 17-3 to push the seven point edge in their favor. However, Pella would close on a 6-0 run to regain the lead.

Brooke Gitters led Pella (24-1) with 19 pointss. Brittany Peterson totaled 19 points and six assists for the Tigers (21-4).

Waukon 46, Keokuk 39

Gene Klinge picked up career victory 931 as 4th-ranked Waukon (20-2) coasted past Keokuk.

Mary Halvorson paced the Indians with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Heelan 46, Wahlert 34

Carli Tritz scored 23 and Mill Niggling added 23 points as defending champion Sioux City Heelan advanced past Dubuque Wahlert Tuesday.

The Crusaders (19-4) advance into a rematch of last year's title game when they face Pella at 7:30PM.

Wahlert was led by Shelbi Schmitz's 12 points and 10 rebounds and finish the season at 18-7.

Ballard 60, Harlan 36

Top-ranked Ballard advanced to the semis for the fourth straight year behind a 14 points, six rebound, five block performance from Amanda Zimmerman.

The Bombers (24-1) face Waukon at 6PM tonight.
