SCHALLER - Four different Newell-Fonda girls reached double figures as the Mustangs cruised past Schaller-Crestland Friday night to pick up their 10th conference win of the year, 74-38.

Alisa Christensen led the way for the #2 Mustangs with 12 points, Cheyenne Anderson added 11, Becky Seivert 10, and Karina Overgaard added 10 to go with six steals and four rebounds.

"This was another good win for us," said N-F head coach Dick Jungers. "We did a great job of keeping Schaller out of their offense. I was pleased at how our girl's took it at them and worked the ball around for a good shot. We again had good balance in our scoring which makes us tougher to defend against."

Newell-Fonda shot 31-64 (48%) from the field as they topped the 70-point barrier for the 13th time this season.

Schaller-Crestland was led by Egypt Clayton who turned in 15 points. Chelsea Clayton added 13 and nine rebounds.

The Mustangs are now 16-1 overall and will look to close out a perfect conference season against Aurelia Friday night. Their final regular season game is the following Monday at Galva-Holstein.
