The Storm Lake Chamber of Commerce Ambassador's staged another Ambassador's Ambush at three local businesses, thanking them for being long time Chamber members. The Ambassadors select three local Chamber Members and show up unannounced at their business location. The Ambush is a combination of a surprise visit, treats for the employees, lots of commotion and a well deserved "Thank you" for being a loyal Chamber Member.

The Ambush took place on Tuesday, January 20th. The three businesses ambushed were Silk Screen, Colburn and Elk Insurance and Real Estate, and Arnold Motor Supply. The Ambassadors met at the Chamber office and climbed into a van provided by Rasmussen Ford. Treats for the business were provided by Taco John's, The Villager and Hy-Vee. "We thank the great sponsors for this event as well as the Ambassador volunteers for their time and energy. Many of Storm Lake businesses work hard and contribute to the community in so many ways. This is just a great opportunity to take time and personally thank them for being there!" says Marilyn Monson of the Chamber.

Ambassador Ambush participants were Dawn Prosser of St. Mary's School, Deb Lullman of Citizens Community Credit Union, Melinda Cords of Rasmussen Ford, Michelle Rasmussen of Gold Key Mortgage, Judy Halder of Central Bank and Ed O'Toole and Monson.
