AURELIA - Egypt Clayton turned in 21 points, nine rebounds, and two blocks, and Chelsea Clayton poured in 28, ten rebounds, five assists, and three blocks as the Wildcats topped the Bulldogs 57-36 Tuesday night.
The duo has paced Schaller-Crestland all year with Tuesday night's output being their highest combined efforts of the season.
Led by the Claytons, the Wildcats shot 44% (21-48) from the field and outrebounded Aurelia by a 34-27 margin.
The Bulldog girls struggled to get their shots to fall as they were just 34% (14-41) from the field while committing 29 turnovers to Schaller-Crestland's 19.
For the seventh straight game, Meghan Glawe led Aurelia in scoring as she finished with 19 points on the night to go with six rebounds. Erin Laursen added eight points and eight rebounds. Audrey Winterhof totaled four points, six rebounds, and a game high eight assists.
The Wildcats move to 3-3 with the win and now gear up for a home contest against St. Mary's (0-6) Friday night at 6:30PM.
The Bulldogs (0-7) are also at home Friday when they meet the Newell-Fonda Mustangs (7-1).
