225 bodies needed to form huge dragonfly at Lakes event

Tuesday, January 6, 2009

Do you want to be a part of the Winter Games and create art at the same time? This year's People Project will be a gargantuan 100 foot dragonfly. If you want to be part of the art, you don't need to sign up ahead of time, just show up at Peace Lot (SW corner of Highway 9 and 86 across from Vick's Corner) in Spirit Lake at 12:30 on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009.

Local Renaissance Man, Chad Branham will design this year's Artslive's People Project on the ice in Miller's Bay at Iowa Lakeside Laboratory and it will be photographed from a plane.

This art project will line people up on the ice in the shape of a giant 100 foot dragonfly. This design will take over 225 people to complete. For more information about the People Project visit ArtsLive.com.
