The US 20 Corridor Association will hold its next regular meeting on Friday, January 9 at 10 a.m. at Galva-Holstein Middle School in Galva
The agenda calls for the US 20 Association to discuss plans for the upcoming Transportation Day at the Capitol scheduled for January 28 in Des Moines. The Association will join with other highway coalitions to lobby lawmakers to fully fund TIME 21, legislation designed to increase monies available for road construction and maintenance projects.
Tony Lazarowicz, DOT District 3 engineer, will attend the meeting to update the Association on construction of new four-lane US 20 in Webster and Calhoun Counties. He will also share information on the anticipated resurfacing of existing US 20 in western Sac and eastern Ida Counties.
The US 20 Corridor Association invites all interested parties to attend their meeting and join their cause. The Association consists of representatives of city, county, and state government, economic developers, business owners, and citizens interested in the completion of statewide four-lane US 20.
