Christmas Spelling Bee Musical to be held on Dec. 21 at Summit in Alta

Kids and Christmas make an inspiring combination that delights the hearts of all ages! And seventy-five wonderful kids age four through sixth grade will wow you and your guests at a delightful Christmas musical extravaganza on Sunday, Dec. 21 at Summit Church in Alta. The kids will perform at 8:30 AM and again at 11:00.

"The Christmas County Spelling Bee" musical tells the story of an annual tradition that teaches the town the real meaning of Christmas. Contestants learn and sing about more than 30 different names of Jesus as the Spelling Bee unfolds. They come to understand the Savior's nature and character, and realize that "Jesus is the only name that saves."

Written by Dove award-winning writer Celeste Clydesdale, the musical focuses on Emmanuel, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.

This inspiring and enjoyable musical, with new and classic Christmas songs, will engage your heart and your mind as you delight in the joy and laughter and singing of children at Christmas - a great event to invite a friend to attend with you!

Christmas Party for All Ages at 9:45 AM

The cast of the musical will join all the children, youth and adults at an All-Church Christmas Party at 9:45 AM, between performances of the musical. Enjoy favorite Christmas goodies, along with a real live spelling bee! The party will also include an update on our Christmas present project for the 230 orphans in Summit's orphanages inHyderabad, India.
