SL boys fall to Sheldon 51-43

STORM LAKE - The Sheldon Orabs jumped out to a 19-10 first quarter advantage, and a 30-17 halftime lead, as they outlasted the Tornadoes Tuesday night.

Following their exciting overtime victory over the E-Hawks last Friday, the Storm Lake boys struggled against a relentless Orab defense that forced 16 turnovers.

Senior guard Courtney Goodchild led Storm Lake with 11 points while adding three assists.

Center JB Tut had another solid game down low scoring eight points to go with nine boards, three steals and a block. Taylor Anderson chipped in with six points, four assists, and three steals.

The Orabs were led by Andy Dyskstra's 13 point outing followed by Tony Rodger's 11.

Storm Lake drops to 1-3 on the year on the year and has difficult road test at Western Christian Friday night.

Sheldon moves to 2-2 on the year.
