NEWELL - The Sioux Central boys put on a shooting clinic as they made 29-60 field goal attempts and 9-18 from long range in their 71-42 win over Newell-Fonda, their third straight of the year.

"We continue to play good team basketball," said Sioux Central head coach Chris Wildeman. "We had four players in double digits."

Stuart Goslinga had a monster of a game as he poured in 21 points on 10-16 shooting to go along with 21 rebounds and three assists.

Scott Patten added 12 points including 3-5 from 3pt range. Jason Richter was also 3-5 from deep en route to 11 points to go with five assists, and Adam Ehlers chipped in with 10 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.

The Rebels dominated the glass 44-31 and really only struggled at the charity stripe where they were just 4 of 16.

Sioux Central moves to 3-0 with the win and travels to take on Schaller-Crestland Friday night. The Mustangs (1-2) head to Laurens-Marathon to face the district leading Chargers on Friday followed by Southern Cal on Saturday.
