Fall Tea Time

Fall Time Tea will be held at the Metcalf House Bed and Breakfast on Satruday Nov. 22, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Come and enjoy the culinary delights of the season while listening to the sweet sound of live flute music performed for your entertainment.

Singles Dance

The Algona Road Runners Single Club will be hosting a singles dance on Saturday, Nov. 22 at the Algona VFW. The Memory Bros Band will be playing from 8 to midnight. All singles are welcome. For questions call 515-889-2228, or email rjulses@netins.net.

Christmas Cookies and Candy Walk

The Circles of Grace Lutheran Church in Storm Lake, 1407 West 5th Street, will be hosting a cookie and candy walk on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 9 to 11 a.m. Cookies are $3 a dozen.

Annual Cookie Walk

The Newell Library Friends will host their Annual Cookie Walk on Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Newell Public Library from 9 to 11 a.m. Phone orders and deliveries will be made within Newell. Please phone your order to 272-4334 by Friday, Dec. 5.

THRIVENT Financial for Lutherans will be contributing to this event and Christmas music by Ron Dewey will also be featured. Proceeds from this event will go to Newell Library Friends to help purchase equipment for the library.

Holiday Tour of Homes at Albert City

The Albert City Library Friends are sponsoring a "Holiday Tour of Homes" on Sunday, Dec. 14, from 2 - 4:30 p.m. with a gathering in the library afterwards for refreshments and door prize drawing.

Homes on the tour include: Kevin and Shelly Buse, Lynn and Mavis Foster, Norman and Lynette Hanson, Paul and Tausha Lindner, Doug and Ebba Youngberg and Countryside Living Guest Apartments.

Cost for this fundraiser event is $5 per person and tickets may be purchased in advance at the Library, Straw Horse, and Pocket of Posies or at the Library the day of the event. Come share this fun holiday outing with your friends and family.

AA meetings held every week

AA Meetings are held every Thursday at noon at St. Mark's Church and every Saturday at 8 p.m. at St. John's (basement).
