John and Nancy Paulsen of Truesdale would like to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter Sarah to Andy Mattson, son of Tom and Jan Mattson of Lisbon. The couple plan to wed on Sept. 20 at Frank Starr Park in Storm Lake.
Janet Benton and Jordan Sheridan
Janet Benton and Jordan Sheridan of Minnetonka, Minn. are happy to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. Janet is the daughter of Charles and Rebecca Benton of Early and the granddaughter of Dr. E.J. Hopkins and the late Dolores Hopkins also of Early. Jordan is the son of Joseph and Beverly Sheridan of Decorah.
Janet is a 1999 graduate of Schaller-Crestland High School, a 2003 graduate of the University of South Dakota, 2007 graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law and a 2008 graduate of the University of Iowa College of Public Health. She is currently employed by Allina Hospitals and Clinics in Minneapolis, Minn. Jordan is a 1998 graduate of Decorah High School and a 2006 graduate of the Paramedic Specialist Education Program at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. From 2002 to 2005, Jordan worked as a Federal Wildland Firefighter for the Dixie National Forest in Southern Utah.
The couple plan to exchange vows on Sept. 27, at Washington Prairie Lutheran Church outside of Decorah, with a reception to follow at the Hotel Winneshiek in downtown Decorah.
Rachel Masterson and Jason Neuroth
Henry (Mick) and Karen Salmen of Storm Lake together with Kevin and DeAnne Neuroth of Storm Lake are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their children, Rachel Masterson and Jason Neuroth. Rachel is a 1996 graduate of Storm Lake High School and a 1998 graduate of Faust Institute of Cosmetology, and is currently employed with Smart Style Salon. Jason is also a 1996 graduate of Storm Lake High School and a 1998 graduate of Iowa Lakes Community College. He is currently employed with Garbage Hauling Service.
A Sept. 6 wedding is planned at the United Methodist Church at 3 p.m. Reception will follow at the Alta Community Center starting at 5 p.m.
