Hard-hitting action at 'Rage in a Cage'

The Midwest Fighting Alliance is bringing its next mixed martial arts show, "Rage in The Cage!" to Storm Lake Saturday night, August 9. Doors open at 7 p.m at the Storm Lake Armory with action at 8 p.m.

Storm Lake has proven to be a popular locale for the brutal emerging sport, with the last three events here spurring over 35 bouts, and drawing crowds of up to 350.

Advance tickets are available at 515-227-6345. Tickets will be sold at the door as available, for $15 general admission, $25 ringside. The show is open to all ages.

Local amateur fighters age 18 and up may compete in the events, and may sign up on the day of the event. The MMF is also welcoming applications from prospective ring girls.

All local fighters must weigh in and be checked by the nurse from 5 p.m-6 p.m.
