Corridor seeks Hwy. 20 project

Thursday, June 26, 2008

The Iowa Lakes Corridor group is expected to push for a four-lane upgrade to Highway 20 south of Storm Lake when a regional presentation is given to the Iowa Department of Transportation Commissioners Public Input Meeting in Sioux City on Aug. 12.

The Corridor's priorities also include improvements to Highways 9 and 86 in the Lakes region, as well as safer access to the ethanol plant in Albert City, where traffic is causing local roads to deteriorate.
