An Arby's restaurant is scheduled to open by January 2009 in Storm Lake, owned by Storm Lakers Keith Madsen and Tony Bedel.
It will be located southeast of Century 21 at 809 Flindt Drive, employing around 20 people. It will seat 40 to 60 and include a drive-up lane.
"As life-long residents of Storm Lake, we're very excited that we can reinvest in this community," said Keith Madsen, President, president of the two men' company, Bedsen Operations, Inc.
"A lot of people have been asking when an Arby's would come to town, so we're happy to fill a need and serve them premium fast food that is a cut above the standard burger options."
The restaurant will be open from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
Arby's features a signature Market Fresh® line of sandwiches, wraps, salads, new Arby's Toasted Subs or long-time favorites of slow-roasted and freshly sliced Roast Beef 'n Cheddar sandwiches, curly fries and Jamocha Shakes.
Arby's Restaurant Group, Inc., based in Atlanta, has about 3,700 franchise restaurants worldwide. The restaurant company was founded in 1964.
