Glenn Sha, son of George and Edna Sha, was born March 1, 1924 in Fergus Falls, Minn. He had two brothers and two sisters - Stanley, Neal, Marilyn and Burma.
In 1947 Glenn married his beloved Alta and they shared a blessed 61 years of marriage. Glenn and Alta had three children - Les, Glenda and Paula - and eight grandchildren - Jessica, Jordan, Samantha, Dillion, Alex, Madison, Lily and Ellie.
Glenn and Alta shared their life living in Fergus Falls, Minn.; Minot, N.D.; Storm Lake and then to Montrose, Colo. in 1997. They have made many life-long friends throughout these areas.
Glenn served in World War II in the European Theatre. Following the war, Glenn enjoyed his family and friends, baseball, golf, wood crafting and was always active in his church.
Glenn is remembered as a man who lived his life in a way that demonstrated quiet strength, integrity, ethics and servant-hood. He always did what was right as opposed to what was popular. Glenn was most often a man of few words but he had no problem showing his family and those who knew him what it meant to be a steady and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He taught his family everything they needed to know in the best way possible through his actions.
Glenn will be missed by many but all rejoice with him as they know his faith has carried him into the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ.
