The Alta High School students are taking Friday to spend a few hours doing community service projects. While some classes are working in the parks, fairgrounds, ball diamonds or other locations, Mrs. Carlson and Mr. Nesbitt's Connections classes are putting on a food drive for the Lord's Cupboard. The students are asking residents of Alta to place any nonperishable items in bags, on their doorsteps or somewhere visible from the street. The students will be driving by and picking the items up that morning. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and can also be dropped off directly at the school. The hours the food drive is taking place is Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. these are the students that will be taking part.
