Judy A. Weber

April 9, 1945-April 15, 2008

Judy A Weber, 63, of Alta, died Tuesday, April 15, at Buena Vista Regional Medical Center.

Services were held on Saturday, April 19 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Mary's Catholic Church of Storm Lake with Father Bruce Lawler officiating. Burial was in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery of Storm Lake. A visitation was held on Friday, April 18 from 3-8 p.m. at the Nicklas D. Jensen Funeral Home of Alta.

Judy Ann Santee Weber, daughter of Marvin and Ruth Santee was born April 9, 1945 in Fort Dodge. She graduated from Rockwell City High School with the class of 1963.

She was united in marriage to Edward Charles Weber on Nov. 14, 1975 at St. John's Lutheran Church of Storm Lake. To this union five children were born. Judy and Ed's deep faith and devotion to each other blessed the lives of their children and many others. Judy was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Judy was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby L. Santee; sister Mildred "Sis" Hudgens; step-sister Donna Pautsch; and her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Ed Weber; her children Michael Weber and his wife Melissa of Spencer; Cindi Loring and her husband Steve of Estherville; Tony Weber and his wife Lisa of Alta; Annette Andrews and her husband Patrick of Sergeant Bluff; and Alicia Williams of Aurelia, Iowa; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Rev. Mark W. Abraham

Rev. Mark Walter Abraham, 53, Fargo, N.D., died Thursday, April 17, 2008, at Fairview University Medical Center, Minneapolis, Minn.

Funeral Services were held Monday, April 21 at 1:30 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, Fargo, N.D. Burial was at Iosco Cemetery, Janesville, Minn.

Mark Walter Abraham was born Aug. 8, 1954, to Loren and Norma (Yess) Abraham. He was baptized on Sept. 5, 1954.

The Loard joined Mark Abraham and Wanda Linde in holy matrimony on Nov. 11, 1978.

Mark farmed in partnership with his father until the operation was sold. Mark worked as a machinist and in agri-business for several years.

Mark graduated from Bethany Lutheran College in 1995, Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Ind. in 1999. He vicared at Grace Lutheran Church in LeMars. Mark was ordained at St. John Lutheran Church, Alta, in 1999 and served there until 2007 when he accepted the call to Grace Lutheran Church in Fargo, N.D.

Pastor Mark Abraham and his family give thanks to our gracious Lord who has richly blessed them throughout their lives as He nurtures and sustains them in one true Faith.

Mark is survived by his wife, Wanda (Linde) Abraham; daughter Renae Abraham, Fargo, N.D.; sons Todd Abraham, St. Louis Park, Minn.; Corey and Christian Abraham, Fargo, N.D.; brothers Bruce and Sandi Abraham, Avon, Minn.; Dennis Abraham, Belle Plaine, Minn.; Nick Schroer, Watertown, Minn.; Nowell Schroer, Janesville, Minn.; one granddaughter, Samantha Hinkeldey, Fargo, N.D.; many aunts, uncles cousins, friends and church family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Loren and Norma (Yess) Abraham and an infant daughter.
