Chad Halder, a Trust Analyst at The Citizens First National Bank, was recently awarded the Certified Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation from the Institute of Certified Bankers (ICB) in Washington, DC.
The CTFA designation is awarded to individuals who demonstrate excellence in the field of wealth management and trust. To qualify for the CTFA certification, individuals must have certain levels of experience and education in the trust profession, pass an exam, and agree to abide by a code of ethics. The CTFA exam covers many areas including fiduciary and trust activities, personal financial planning, tax law, investment management and ethics.
Mr. Halder has been employed with Citizens First National Bank since March 2004. A 2005 graduate of Buena Vista University, Mr. Halder graduated with honors and earned his B.A. with a double major in Finance/Banking and Economics. He is an officer of the local Kiwanis group, a board member of St. Mary's Foundation, and holds the position of Treasurer for the Storm Lake Community Chest.
