'Impact' slams into local venue

The superstars of Spike TV's hit show "TNA iMPACT!" will take over the Clay County Regional Events Center in Spencer Friday, April 4 starting at 7:30 p.m.

Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling will bring their Midwest tour to Spencer with a professional wrestling line-up including: Booker T, "The Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe, "The Phenomenal" A.J. Styles, women's champion Gail Kim, BG James, Kip James, "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal, "The Guru" Sonjay Dutt, "Cowboy" James Storm, "The War Machine" Rhino, Tomko, and others.

TNA Wrestling delivers a distinct brand of "extreme" high-risk, athletic entertainment. TNA features the innovative six-sided ring and the high-flying "X Division," as well as concept matches such as "Ultimate X," "King of the Mountain," and "Six Sides of Steel." TNA Entertainment, LLC is a privately held company headquartered in Nashville, Tenn.

"TNA Thursday Night iMPACT!" airs every Thursday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Spike TV. Spike TV is available in over 96 million homes and is a division of MTV Networks. MTV Networks, a division of Viacom International Inc.

Tickets went on sale over the weekend at the Events Center box office. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com, charged by phone thru Ticketmaster at 262-4554, and sold at all Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets are $44.50 ringside, $29.50 preferred, and $19.50 reserved seats.

The local event will be a prelude to the largest pay-per-view live event in the wrestling organization's history, "Lock Down," April 13 in the Boston area. All of the sports entertainers appearing at the CLay County Regional Events Center will participate in the pay-per-view as well.
