Onnen selected as field editor for Our Iowa magazine

Ann Onnen, Schaller, has been selected as the "Hawk-Eye" Field Editor for Sac County for the new Our Iowa magazine, the magazine written by Iowans for Iowans. Her name will be listed as a member of our staff in the masthead of the next issue. Ann was chosen from hundreds of people across the state who volunteered to be "Hawk-Eyes."

Ann is employed as marketing director for the Farber & Otteman Corporation. She creates their custom printed items and manages the printing operation for the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Homes in Schaller, Newell and Storm Lake. She also handles marketing chores for Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Homes, as well as for the Farber & Otteman Funeral Homes in Lake View, Odebolt, Sac City and Wall Lake. She is a life-long resident of northwest Iowa. Raised on a farm in Ida County, Ann is the daughter of Shirley Hemer of Arthur and the late Roy Hemer. She is a graduate of Odebolt-Arthur High School. Ann and her husband, Bernie, have lived at Schaller for the past twelve years.

The mission of Our Iowa is to celebrate everything that's great about living in our state...by telling about interesting events, people and happenings across Iowa. Ann's responsibility is to keep the magazine staff abreast of these people and happenings in Sac County prior to each every-other-month issue.
