Alta girls get back to .500 in Northwest

Jordan Henningsen and Jessy Bibler scored 21 and 18 points, respectively - and the Cyclones made 26-of-36 free throw tries - as Alta dismissed the Pomeroy-Palmer girls basketball team 64-45 here Tuesday.

With the win, the Cyclones improved to .500 in the Northwest Conference.

Alta's Haley Payne just missed double figures scoring with nine points.

Bibler (10-of-13) and Henningsen (9-for-10) did the bulk of Alta's foul shooting, while Courtney VanHaaften went 5-for-6.

Bibler paced Alta in boards (8) and assists (4). Henningsen added four steals.

Alta (7-10, 6-6 NWC) heads to the Panther Pit tomorrow night for St. Mary's homecoming.
