Unique show is an Aurelia HS fundraiser

If you like fine entertainment, then you won't want to miss a special appearance by "Reza - the Illusionist" at the Aurelia High School Jan. 19. The performance proceeds will benefit the Aurelia prom.

Reza, who grew up in Brookings, SD, has made his presence felt in the world of illusion since a very young age. His focus in the art began at the age of 7 when he received his first magic kit. beginning in his hometown of Brookings, SD.

While at an early age, as most children were out playing, Reza kept himself occupied by honing his skill and practicing his craft.

"I was very shy as a kid," he commented. "Magic allowed me to express myself in a unique way."

By the age of 14 Reza was landing significant shows performing for resorts and large corporations. On his 15th birthday, Reza left to perform a six-week run in Branson, MO.

He used the grueling 18-show-a-week schedule to hone his gift for entertaining. After Branson, one opportunity led to the next and as the doors began to open, Reza's style took on a fresh and cutting edge feel. Today, he is recognized as one of the fastest rising stars in the industry, thrilling audiences across the nation. With a largely original show and an appealing stage presence Reza's shows sell out quickly. The world has taken notice.

The former boy magician prodigy, is today's young man set on changing the world's perception of magic. Using special effects and lighting to create a theatrical atmosphere anywhere he is, which sets the mood for a Vegas-style show.

Reza has the ability to connect with his audience and let them feel his magic on a personal level. He isn't just a magician. He is an entertainer.
