The only team to have beaten Laurens-Marathon's boys in Northwest Conference play prior to Friday was Class 1A No.1 Alta.
Now, the Wildcats can be added to that list.
Collin Johnson scored 23 points and knocked down 4-of-5 3-point attempts, and Kiley Murra put up 10 points and 12 rebounds, as Schaller-Crestland beat the Chargers 46-44 here Friday.
The Chargers dipped to 6-2 in the league while S-C climbed to 4-4.
Josh Alesch added seven points for S-C, while Chuck Hansen and Steven Mason both scored two, and Daren Miller and Matt Struchen chipped in one apiece.
Mitch Lyons dished out a team-high four assists.
For the Chargers, Adam Woodin led the way with 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting, including 3-for-5 from downtown.
Zach Lovin added seven, Ryan Stumbo six, Travis Leuer and Tyler Smith four apiece, Caleb Jamison and Ryan Lovin three each, and Gary Brechler two.
Smith collected five steals and Stumbo tallied 10 rebounds.
