The Storm Lake High School Scholastic Art Show begins January 4 at the Witter Art Gallery in Storm Lake, and runs through Jan. 30.
This exhibit is a selection of the best works from students, grades 9-12, created this past calendar year.
A total of 200 works will be on display ranging from charcoal, sculpture, paintings, ceramics, pencil drawings and photography.
Gold Key awards will be presented to six senior porfolios and other leading individual works.
This annual event at the Witter Gallery is a juried competition by local artist/judge Cherie Courter.
A Reception will be held Friday, January 11, 6-7:30 p.m. The public is encouraged to come see the results of the local teen artists' hard work.
