Galva-Holstein's girls basketball team dropped a 64-57 decision to Odebolt-Arthur Friday night.
Heather Joslin led the Pirates with 16 points, while Breanna Mathes and Brandi Wagoner both chipped in 10.
Joslin also paced G-H in rebounds with eight.
"Odebolt's offensive rebounding was the difference in this game," said Pirates coach Ken Slater. "The Trojanettes came down with 20 offensive rebounds and outrebounded us 35-26 for the game. We worked hard for 32 minutes but just didn't have enough to get ahead of the 'Nettes.
"We need to improve on our rebounding and taking care of the ball."
The Pirates made 35 turnovers but closed a 15-point gap to seven in the last minute.
"The positives of the night were that we were able to get to the free throw line and we made 21 out of 31 free throws. We had some decent runs and didn't back down," Slater added.
