Boys Scouts teams up with Tyson to bring soccer school

The Boy Scouts of America and Tyson Meats are teaming up to provide a socccer school Dec. 8, Jan. 9, and Feb. 5 at the Storm Lake South Elementary Gym, 310 Cayuga St.

The school, called Drills and Thrills, will bring together Storm Lake High School students and Buena Vista's men and women soccer players to teach both basic and enhanced skills to girls and boys, kindergarten through fourth grade.

Cost of the program for youth is $10 and will be collected at the first session, Dec. 8. The cost includes registration to a magazine along with Scouting gifts and invitations to a number of Scouting events in 2008. Sessions will start at 2 p.m. and run till 3:30 / 4 p.m.
