Alyssa Ringgenberg dished out 38 assists and Roxanne Grundmeier downed 12 kills as Schaller-Crestland upset the Class 1A No. 11-ranked Alta volleyball team 3-2 here Tuesday.
Game scores, in favor of the Wildcats, were 25-27, 25-12, 25-19, 20-25, 15-8.
"Schaller played solid offense and defense and had the desire to win - that's a recipe for winning a match," said Cyclones coach Jeannie Henningsen.
Grundmeier was 27 of 28 serving, while Ringgenberg was 18 of 18 and Sydney Shell finished 13 of 13 for the Wildcats, who served 90 percent for the match.
Egypt Clayton had 10 kills, Katie Murra nine and Cassie Schmidt eight.
Grundmeier recorded 25 digs and Schmidt put up seven blocks.
For Alta, Kelsie Peterson floored a match-high 20 kills and Jordan Henningsen added nine.
Courtney VanHaaften had 17 assists; Peterson booked 14 digs while Jessy Bibler and Henningsen both notched 10.
Henningsen was 18 of 19 on her serves, while Bridget Murillo and VanHaaften both finished 16 of 17.
Peterson served up five aces.
