Lisa and Troy Ehlers

Troy Ehlers and Lisa Borden were married Aug. 31, in Cody, WY. To celebrate their marriage, an open house will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 1-5 p.m. at the Sanborn Community Center located at 225 Main St. Sanborn.

Troy and Lisa are residents at 3407 Harcourt Dr. in Ames. Troy is the son of Edgar and Marcella Ehlers.

Stacie amd Tyler DeHann

Stacie Lynn Towne and Tyler James DeHaan were married on Aug. 11, at 4 p.m. at Union Memorial Church, Milford, during a ceremony officiated by Pastor Jamie Cutler from Storm Lake. A reception and dance followed at the Village West Convention Center.

The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Lori Towne of Milford. The groom is the son of Dr. Fred and Deb DeHaan, Storm Lake.

Lindie Towne, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jill Dorenkamp, Amy Cooper, friends of the bride, and Lindsay De Haan, sister- in-law of the groom. The flower girl was Sydney Ebel, cousin of the bride. Personal attendants were Katie Keizer and Maggie Jones, friends of the bride.

Jeff De Haan, brother of the groom, was the best man. The groomsmen were Brent Town, Joe Schueller and Scott Ellens, friends of the groom. The ring bearer was Cory DeHaan, cousin of the groom. Ushers were Jake Kurtz, Nick Skibsted, Travis Hulstein and Mike Pierce, friends of the groom.

Music was provided by the Brass Section from Sioux City. The pianist was Jessica Schable, friend of the bride and cellis Lee Thorson, Storm Lake. Vocalists were Amy Cooper and Ron Netten, Storm Lake.

The couple now resides in Urbandale. Stacie is a fourth grade teacher in Waukee Community School District. Tyler is the manager of the trade desk at Principal Financial Group in Des Moines and a graduate student at Drake University.
