Nancy Saengkio was chosen as the overall winner in a recent essay contest that involved more than 120 Tyson locations, in 20 countries.

Nancy was encouraged to write the essay by her sister and several of her Storm Lake High School teachers. The essay was to be at least 1000 words but could not exceed three typed pages. The topic was to focus on how technology has changed the way food processors operate.

"We at the Storm Lake Tyson facility are very proud of Nancy and her parents Thong and Ngae, who are both Storm Lake Tyson Team Members," Ron Hott of Tyson said. She wins $2,500 scholarship and a fully-configured laptop computer.
