Free patriotic a cappella show at Clay County Fair

Thursday, June 28, 2007

Tonic Sol-fa is one of the most popular bands in the region, having played everything from the Storm Lake Relay for Life to the Star Spangled Spectacular to talked-about Christmas concerts in the region.

The group has been booked for "A Tribute to America" show Monday, September 10 at the Clay County Fair grandstand - free with fair admission. Showtime is 7:30.

Although they are simply four voices and a tambourine, Tonic Sol-fa is marking a full decade on the road, doing some 150 shows a year, selling over 1 million CDs on their own independent label, and being named one of the top five "must see" groups in America. Now based out of the Twin Cities, they have appeared on NBC's Today Show, the Tonight Show and in Newsweek.
