'Pop Chef' show is cooking up new snacker epidoses for Monday night

Local Cooking Show, "Pop Chef" will air three new episodes on Monday, July 2 during the Pop Chef's Monday Night POP-TACULAR marathon on the University Cable Network Channel 3 on the Storm Lake cable systems. The marathon will air all the Pop Chef episodes, including the three new ones beginning at 7 pm. The new episodes highlight the pop culture food of potato chips, popcorn and snack cakes.

The pop chefs, Dave and Tim Debris, will do live segments during the evening. They will be doing "Chefs' Cuts" which introduces each episode with an interesting twist of trivia, recipes and opinions. Viewers are invited to call in to vote for their favorite episode that will be aired at the end of the marathon. The first show of the night is the SPAM show at 7 p.m., followed by Little Debbie Snack Cake show at 7:30 p.m., the Hot Dog show at 8 p.m., Jolly Time Popcorn show at 8:30 p.m., Bomb Pop show at 9 p.m., the Potato Chip show at 9:30 p.m., Bing Bar show at 10 p.m. and the Chefs' Choice (viewer's favorite) at 10:30 p.m..

Pop Chef is a program produced by the Electronic Media Production class and the University Cable Network at Buena Vista University. The show is where pop culture food meets worldly cuisine and new recipes are created from American popular food choices.
