* "Follow the Yellow Brick Road" - May 10, 7 p.m. at Schaller Memorial Chapel. BVU's Leon Williams in a unique version of "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz." In this play, Williams adapts the story to address multi-cultural issues such as multi-racial identity, spirituality, language, race, homophobia, gender, and poverty. Open to the public, and all ages are welcome. There is no admission fee.
* Gospel Under the Stars - Saturday, May 12, 7 p.m. at Anderson Auditorium. Voices of Praise offers its last concert of the year, featuring the gospel choir, D.I.M.E.S. dance group, Campus Ministries, and a Special Guest Performance. Everyone is welcome, and admission is free.
* "A Little Salsa on the Prairie" - Sunday, May 13, 6:30-8 p.m. in the Science Center. "A Little Salsa on the Prairie: The Change Character of Perry, Iowa," is a documentary that chronicles the rapid ethnic diversification of the community with an influx of Latino families attracted by meatpacking jobs. A brief discussion from the producer and director will follow the 55 minute film. Open to the public, free.
* Child's Play Touring theater - Monday, May 14, at noon, Schaller Chapel.
The Chicago theatre company performs three plays works written by children. Students from St. Mary's school will be a part of the audience. All are welcome, free of charge.
