Tyson employees save a man's life

Monday, April 2, 2007

Last August 30, a 56-year-old man delivering hogs to the Storm Lake Tyson facility suffered a massive heart attack. Ray Kruse, Tim DeLance, Allyson Munger and Barb Yates of Tyson immediately began CPR and continued until paramedics arrived. The man was then transported to Buena Vista Regional Medical Center. The four employees have now been named Tyson Heroes, a program to recognize those who help others in need with no thought of reward or recognition.

Each will receive a special award, and have been featured in the Tyson Update magazine.
