St. Patrick's celebration and concert set for March 11 in Holstein

Our Lady of Good Council Catholic Church will again be hosting its annual St. Patrick's Day celebration. This year's celebration will be held on Sunday, March 11th at the Holstein Vet's Hall and will feature the music of the nationally known 3 man band, The Irish Brigade. All three band members are originally from Ireland, but now base themselves out of Minneapolis, Minn. Father David Hemann, OLGC's Parish priest will be playing with them. The annual event draws crowds of approximately 500 and the show promises to be outstanding entertainment again this year. The meal of beef stew and hard rolls will be catered by Staley's Catering of Charter Oak and will be served from 5 p.m.- 7 p.m. The Irish Brigade will begin at 7 p.m. and play until 10 p.m. A cash bar is available and snacks will be provided midway through the evening. All monies raised from this event will be used for the OLGC Scholarship Fund. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for age 12 and younger, preschool free.
