SAC CITY - Greg Allen, Josh Robley and Tim Galvin all captured individual first-place finishes to help lead Schaller-Crestland to a fourth-place finish in the Sac City Relays last Friday night.
Manning won the team title with 67 points. Schaller-Crestland was fourth with 66 and Newell-Fonda fifth with 52.
Allen leaped 5 feet, 10 inches to win the high jump. Robley won the 100 meters in 11.51 seconds and Galvin claimed the 800 meters in 2 minutes, 19.45 seconds. The 4x400 relay placed first in 3:43.79.
Schaller-Crestland's 4x200 relay took second in 1:37.89. Jeff Witzke was third in the 3,200 meters in 11:32.35, as was Tom Sippel in the 400 meters in a time of 57.3 seconds.
David Bloyer was fourth in the 200 meters in a time of 24.15 seconds. Two relay teams placed fourth - the 4x800 in 9:30.87 and the mile medley in 4:14.66.
Sippel was fifth in the 100 meters in 12.2 seconds, as was the 4x00 relay in 50.2 seconds.
Newell-Fonda's 4x800 relay was victorious in a time of 9:02.24. Jamie Erie was second in the 110 high hurdles in 17.86 seconds, as was Alan Baskerville in the 400 meters in 56.87 seconds and Beau Artist in the 800 meters in 2:21.36. The 4x100 relay team took second in 47.68 seconds.
