STORM LAKE - Jessica Jensen, Hilary Minish and Erin Steinkamp were all double winners as Buena Vista captured the team title in the Buena Vista Invitational track and field meet held on Saturday at J. Leslie Rollins Stadium.
Buena Vista scored 199 points in the meet. Sioux Falls was second and Martin Luther College third.
The Buena Vista men's team finished third behind Martin Luther and Sioux Falls.
Jensen claimed the 200 meters in 25.62 seconds and the long jump in 17 feet, 3 1/4 inches. Minish won the discus in 132-3 and the javelin in 106-3.
Steinkamp captured the 100 meter hurdles in 16.05 seconds and the 400 meter hurdles in 1 minute, 10.32 seconds.
Erin Hoffman won the 1,500 meters in a time of 5:11.35. Katie Berger was second and Dana Mace third.
Jessica Brooks claimed the 400 meters in 1:01.73, while Katie Clipperton won the 100 meters in 12.56 seconds. Amy Nieland was second in 12.89.
Buena Vista's 4x100 relay took first in a time of 51.55 seconds, while the 4x400 relay won with a time of 4:15.13.
Katie Van Dusseldorf won the high jump by leaping 5-2. Jenny Lange was second in the shot put with a throw of 40-7 1/2 and second in the discus in 125-10. Berger took second in the 800 meters in 2:31.71. Minish took fourth in the shot put in 35-8 1/4.
Clipperton placed second in the 200 meters in 26.21 seconds, while Brooks was third, Nieland fourth and Kelly McClure fifth.
Susan Brenteson was third in the 3,000 meters in 11:55.06, while Mace was fourth in 12:06.15.
